Three Panel Hand Painted Screen-White
The cente Panel of the screen measures 5 3/4 inches.The side panels measure 5 1/2 inches high, The Centre panel has a full mirror and is 1 3/4 inches wide.The hand painted side panels are 1 3/8 inches wide with a mirror in the top section.The Back and front of the screen have the same decoration so that when the screen is standing the hand painted scenes can be seen from both sides. Victorian Antique Japanned Work Table Sewing Box.During this period large and ornate sewing boxes were fashionable. Needlework was a popular pastime for dowager ladies and sometimes even the gentlemen. This needlework box highly decorated in the chinoiserie style is supported on a tall tressel table with Lyre shaped ends. The sides are cut in balancing cyma curves.It sits on 2 scroll cut cyma-curved bracket feet. The interior of the box has been divided into compartments of vaious sizes some with small lids that are fitted with a little brass knob so that they lift of to gain access to the needlework notions that are stored in the compartment. The lid of the box has been decorated with beautiful hand painted chinoiserie designs mostly they are in rounded sarcophagus shapes with very fine gold decoration depicting oriental scenes

Victorian Boston Rocking Chair- walnut
The chair has a tall Back and shaped top rail supported by plain turned uprights and a central carved Back splat. A wide horseshoe shaped continuous band terminating with rounded ends adds to extra strength to the chair back and creates the arm rests. Two curved bands (also known as rockers) are attached to the bottom of the turned legs. Turned spreader bars connect the legs on each side to each other. The rockers contact the floor at only two points, giving the occupant the ability to rock back and forth by shifting their weight or pushing lightly with their feet. Jacobean Chair
Following the style of a farthingale chair, which had no arms, a low solid padded back ; high-raised seat. The Chair can be used as a dining Chair or as a desk chair with matching desk J5038.Turned baluster legs at the front and plain ones at the rear. The front ones have been fluted which in that period would be call turning because of the method used to achieve the fluting. The top spreader bar (3/16 inches below the seat) at the front of the Settee fits into the top bulbous turn of the legs and is carried around the sides of the Settee. The turned spreader bars are copied and used just above floor level to reinforce front to back legs. The camel back of the Settee and the seat are upholstered in a dark red leather, a fabric favoured on Jacobean furniture. The turnings on either side of the back are surmounted by finials.; chair measures 4 inches high x 1 3/4 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish.
