DESCRIPTION
A popular piece of furniture in the Mid-century 50s. The ottoman was originally a padded, low-lying, chair. Gradually, by removing the back and the arms the design was adapted so that the ottoman could serve not only as a footstool and as a seat, but also as a makeshift coffee table. The ottoman is upholstered in a dove blue velvet fabric. The seat is tufted and the fabric around the sides of the ottoman is pleated. The ottoman measures 7 inches high x 5 inches dia.
