Louis XV Rococo/Baroque Settee 18th Century

Upholstered mid18th century French canape (Settee) with a high back and shaped front, standing on small cabriole legs. The show wood frame around the seat, back and scrolled arms is decorated with a carved leaf motif. A fleur-de-lis is carved in the centre of the back frame. The tufting on the back of the settee is a feature of furniture designed by Mariano Garc. The settee measures 13 1/8inches wide x 4 3/4 inches deep and 8 inches high and is available in a fine white linen fabric.
