Welsh Dresser - walnut 1:12 scale

Originally called a Kitchen Dresser in England and a China Hutch in America. Used in the Farmhouse kitchen to display the best crockery In the 19th Century it became popular in wales. the proper care and display of the items on a Welsh dresser would come to assume an important role in the culture of North Wales in particular.Hence the name change to Welsh Dresser. This reproduction has 2 shelves in the top section and 2 drawers in the lower part of the cabinet. Spreader bars connect the four turned legs. The legs have bun feet and the drawer fronts have been decorated with a raised geometric design. The dresser has Hepplewhite style cornice .The dresser measures  6 1/2 inches high x 5 inchs wide x 2 inches deep and available in a walnut finish.
