Spanish Chair, walnut-Early 17th Century

The high back chair has a staight carved leaf finials and quadrangular back legs with backward splay.The front under frame rail is caved and punched with stylised onamentation.This Spanish high-back chair was of Flemish origin, modified with turned column front legs and turned front feet.The camel shaped back and the seat are decorated with an embossed pattern. The chair measures 4 1/4inches high x 13/4 inches wide x 13/4 inchesd deep and is available in awalnut finish.
